Other Activities

Scouting for Food:
This is a food drive for the needy in the metro Detroit area. The Boy Scouts of America and many other charitable organizations participate. Our Pack will canvas local neighborhoods to collect canned goods for this event. This helps build a sense of goodwill and unity while having a bit of fun with the boys.

Winter Klondike:
A half-day of competitive fun centered around outdoor activities and outdoor skills such as knot tying, fire building and other safety-related activities. This event is held in January at Beverly Park.

Summer Day/Twilight Camp:
This is a series of coordinated activities where both Scouts and parents can have fun for a week during the summer. Camp usually is at Beverly Park during the day or evening hours. Parent volunteers coordinate planned activities for participating Scouts.

Summer Camp:
Summertime means Summer Camp at a Boy Scout-sponsored camp. Camp typically is a half week in July and the Scouts swim, fish, work on crafts, learn “hands-on” about nature, earn a whittlin’ chip, and just plain HAVE FUN! This year there are two camps: one for Tigers through Jr. Webelos, and another for Sr. Webelos.
